November 16, 2019 — Blue hour, Point Reyes National Seashore

How many movies have you seen that were “based on a true story” or “based on historical events”?

This is based on an actual blue hour as seen from the south end of the Point Reyes Peninsula, looking north.

  1. It’s a lovely image, yet my eyes were drawn to the upper right by the increasing darkness there. While that was the reality of the scene, did you consider evening out the lightness and darkness across the photograph?

    • That was the reality of the scene. The sun had set off the frame, to the left. I did even it out some. If I’d evened it out all the way it would’ve been kinda funny lookin’ because the clouds are lit from the left. (I tried.)
