Northern harriers hunt by sound as well as sight, so they fly low. That’s good news for photographers.

  1. You learn something every day – I didn’t realize that’s why they fly low over the fields. It makes sense. Their tilting flight and white rumps are always distinctive, and this view is beautiful, too.
