January 29, 2020 —Fjallsárlón Glacial Lake, Iceland

A sole iceberg puppy floating on the near mirror surface of this lake at the south end of the glacier Vatnajökull. Pretty small for an iceberg but pretty big for a pup. About the size of a Saint Bernard and I’m sure a lot heavier.

  1. Icebergs calve so why not start out as a pup? The light on the little berg is beautiful as is your handling of it. The long soft exposure of the water is just right so the ice pup stand out to be admired. Woof!

  2. I like the way you see this, the way you processed it. I have to say, I’ve seen photos of ice “pups” from Iceland before, but you manage to do it differently. 🙂
