I see a soft moon rising…
(Would’ve been boring without the clouds.)

This is very nice, Mike. Some of my favorite moon shots have some clouds and the thin wisps really do make it interesting. So you are telling us that the moon is made of soft cheese?

Thanks, Steve. Wallace thought it was made of Wensleydale, but I’m going for Camembert.

I’d heard of Wallace and Gromit but that’s my first sighting.

I highly recommend them. They are absolutely delightful. The first three films, I believe, are the best.

Not moi. We turn off the evening news when that comes on. I watched the Prez “read” one of his briefings. Holy crap. I can bear pain when necessary but I don’t volunteer for it.

I am reminded of the story with the masochist saying, “Beat me, whip me!“ And the sadist says, “Hmmmm… no.“

Agree totally…moon pinsharp with 1000mm has now become boring now we are used to even better from NASA..but this is the perfect solution..I like it lots.

Right. Anybody can do pin sharp. I actually softened this someone in the post. I generally go for mood.

You did go ’round that night.
It didn’t take your life.
You got a soft moon on the rise.

Thank you very much. Don’t tell anybody, but I softened it a bit more in post production.
