A blindingly bright afternoon. Calm day — but each wavelet was its own mirror, each adding to the millions of tiny suns out on the water.
ICM — Intentional Camera Motion — does wonderful things with time and space as they combine in the camera in myriad mystical modes.
Then in the computer, more magic happens.

Smoothly done. There’s an appeal in pictures that flip the usual order in a landscape, with dark at the top and brighter below.

Thanks, Steve. I do enjoy that flip. I will never forget the side of moonlight reflected on the Utah salt flats at midnight. That was a flip.

Glad the search feature works! Do you know of a photographer in Scotland by the name of Bruce Percy? Look him up. I very much admire his work. Attended a four-part webinar of his recently. Not only is he an amazing photographer, but he is a wonderful teacher and is possessed of a dry sense of humor.

I’ll look it up too. Believe it or not he performed in my hometown of Dumfries a couple of years ago. Brilliant gig, got the impression he would have carried on all night. Mind you, he appeared to be in a “different planet”, if you know what I mean. His assistant had to come on now and then to remind him what to do!

He sent himself to a distant planet sometime in the late 60s and apparently you never returned. I like his work in 1964, 65, and 66 much better. I saw him on stage at the Fillmore in San Francisco in 1969. He brought his father with him. I think that was because he was already pretty far gone. But as I said, his earlier stuff is just magic.
