I love irises. This is a beautiful way to show the flamboyance of an iris. And they’re not easy to photograph! The dark background is perfect, I think. (Wow – so many species! )

Thank you. It was hard to find a perfect specimen that isolated. This one was symmetrical, so the obvious crop was purple explosion.
