I see the fury, but from a different viewpoint. It reminds me of blowing snow drifts in a gale wind here in the northeast. Putting my vision aside, this is a very cool interpretation of waves and the black and white works very well.

Seeing a small version of this picture first, I thought I was looking at wispy clouds. The larger version precluded clouds and left no doubt the picture shows the sea. The roughly evenly strung out areas of brightness are a nice touch.

You can also let your imagination run free and see the mouth of a sea monster or something like that.
