Gorgeous capture, Michael. A classic with lovely subtlety.

Thank you Jane. I could’ve called it “Fog With a Hint of Bridge.”

I’ve always enjoyed the views of the Golden Gate Bridge in fog and this is especially appealing, Michael. Just a hint of the structure. Such pleasing and restful hues. I’d like it just as well with no bridge at all.

Thank you very much Steve. I would’ve liked it with no bridge at all, but removing the bridge would’ve been a great inconvenience to a lot of commuters.

This bridges the gap between the manmade and the strictly natural.

Thank you. As you know I tend to want to leave the man-made out of my photography but in this case, there it was.

I think that little accent mark of a bridge makes the shot, carets are good for your eyes.

San Francisco is definitely noted for its fog!

Well, this is all about memories for me. I can’t tell you how many days and nights I spent watching the fog come in, over, and around the Golden Gate. From the top of the Marin hills, there are wonderful views, but I always preferred the fog to the city lights.

I’m glad you enjoyed. There will be more from time to time. Look back through the blog and you’ll come across the ghost of Mount Tam.

Wow! Amazing to think the bridge is down there somewhere! 🙂

Thank you Julie. It is rumored that there were a lot of commuters on the bridge at that point in time. 😉
