There are a lot of pictures in pictures which I am just starting to work with more also. Sometimes the large overwhelms the small while being experienced until we have a chance to study and glean. I liked Fury quite a bit but am even more pulled into this crop of the whole. The color is subtle but I am glad that it is there.

Yes, I think all these platforms do sublet or not so subtle manouvres to keep your photo light-footed.

I’ve often enough seen the virtue of cropping in on a prime element of a larger view, and you’re right that a change in orientation between horizontal and vertical can make a big difference in how we experience an image. After looking back and forth several times at this photograph and the broader one from last time, I’m still favoring the overall view with its sequence of dynamic areas.

New to me then. Old is all relative. Pretty sure you are younger than I. I sometimes feel my age and other times do not. Acting my age is forbidden. Next time how about standing in front of a Scandling.

Next week will be the last birthday that begins with six. I rarely feel my age, and even more rarely act it.

About a month will mark my third birthday starting with 7. We all still have the child in us. The more comfortable in our skin we are the more that is revealed.

I think I see some blues and brownish tones in there…the detail is framed with care, so nicely balanced. The conversation with Steve has me wondering – Capricorn or Aquarius – has to be Aquarius but there’s always so much more than one’s sun sign. 🙂

I hated the musical. Hated it. Oh by the way I really didn’t like it. But I very much like the song, Let the Sunshine In. Find a late 1960s recording of Julie Driscoll and Brian Auger doing that song. It’s a real treat.
