Minimalist mountain, even more minimally.
Redone for a competition entry. Closer to what I originally had in mind.

Oh, I can imagine this a winner! And the marvelous peak is brilliantly off center. Bravo, my friend!

Thank you very much, Paula. And it was very nice looking at snow on this excessively hot day in California.

I went back and forth several times to see how you had made minimal more minimal.

I’m glad you took time to take a look. The soft got softer and the sharp edges, a little sharper. That would be the summary.

Thank you very much, Hedy. Oh, we are staying warm. It was 95° F in Berkeley yesterday. That means over 100 in other parts of the bay area.

And with all the smoke in the air, the dirty and gritty part rings true as well.

Thank you very much. More concrete in some ways; less in others. Reviewing my best since early 2019 and in some cases doing some tweaks. Many are quite satisfactory as they are. Some I’m seeing with new eyes and those are the ones that are getting a refresh. At any rate, they go off to Australia tonight.

Good luck with the competition, Michael. And better luck next time deciding which title to use! 😉 Seriously, it’s beautiful.

Thank you. As I was preparing my entries last night I discovered that a title was demanded for each one. I made them up on the fly. They’re pretty good though, I think.

Yes – I was just kidding – this is a great title. 🙂

Thank you. As I was selecting candidates for entry I found myself reworking a few of them. The best titles just pop into my head. The longer I have to think, the worse they get.
