Minimal perfect! …and brilliantly having the peak slightly off center! 🙂

Do I rightly detect a very faint trace of pink or violet in the sky, or is that an artifact of jpeg, WordPress, my monitor, or my imagination?

You rightly do.

Thank you very much. I will take credit for the composition. The credit for the palette goes to Mother Nature.

I’m with Marina. Very nice composition and kudos to you and Ma Nature for those little bits of mountain protruding through the snow. Just enough to be an asset to the entire. Nicely soft everywhere except the bit of detail from the ridge which gets our attention as it should with the slight illumination pointing the way.

Thank you very much that’s what I was trying for and that’s what I got.

Very beautiful; and the tiny areas of exposed rock certainly add to it. 🙂

Thank you very much. Just between you and me — and don’t tell anybody – I eliminated a few they were out of alignment with the main line because they were distracting in context.

That is one beautiful mountain. It’s perfection, with the tender peak, the swerve down and the scattering of darkness. Beautiful light, too.

Thank you. This was shot with a pocket camera, which is the only one I had with me right then. It’s a crop of a much larger frame. I made a few adjustments in RAW development, but overall this is pretty much what I saw.

Minimalist indeed. Thank you for sharing.
(Just reminded me it’s been a loooong time since I’ve seen snow…) ❄️
Cheers

I love the ethereal feel to this image. All light and graceful line, with just that little bit of rock at the point of focus.

Just beautiful! 🙂
A lot of snow.
Now the snow in the mountains is not to strong.
This shot gives a state of peace and a minimalist. 😀

Thank you. There was a lot of snow, for sure, and it softened things. Just what I wanted.
