You certainly did take care of business here. Nice horizon rim lighting. 🙂

A lot of work went into this. I almost threw it out. Glad I didn’t.

You could also replace Bachman with the somewhat similar-sounding Jackson, i.e. William Henry Jackson, who over his long life (1843–1942) painted and photographed the American West. I never knew till now that the 70s rock group came from Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Thank you very much, Ken. As I said to others, it may not show it but a lot of work went into this one. It is not quite as it originally, literally, looked. It is, however, what I saw.

As with most photographers’ work, there is a personal interpretation of each image that transcends what the literal sight was. Most of your work involves a great deal of personal vision. I’m sure even Chewy would agree.

Interesting image you have created…it invites one to sit and contemplate the darkness of the ocean and clouds, the mist of sky rain, and serenity beyond the horizon. While the whiteness of the horizon did initially invite my eyes, they wandered away to visit the darkest dark before venturing into the background. thank you for sharing.

Thank you. My idea was that the dark act as a frame for the light. Like a stage: floor below, curtains above.

I’m having a little trouble reconciling the different elements (upper, middle, lower) but it does keep me looking, and wondering. 🙂

Well, I sure hesitated to say that. It’s good to be able to say more than “fantastic, etc.” sometimes, right? 🙂

Absolutely. One of the reasons I post these is for feedback. The Muse had pretty much the same thoughts you did.
