Foggy sunset with a glow across the bay. A thin white line marking the shore of Marin County. Reduced to the essentials.

PS: Yes, that headline is really stretching it.

Oh I liked your headline .. made me laugh! 😀
Unusual lower sky colour, is that a little smoke-tinged?

Thank you very much, Liz. I’m glad that you could see the slight coloration in the sky. It’s actually an upward reflection of water.

And somehow we know, we know even then,
That we’ll see the sea here again and again.

Add the grave accent, and “Some enfoggèd evening” scans as nicely as this Scandling photo; one pleases the ear, the other the eye.

Thank you very much. Note the edit. You hit it right on the head. But gently.

Even without the grave accent I read the word as three syllables, knowing how the original sounds.

Some words in Portuguese, my mother tongue, and English, have the same origin but may have slightly different meanings in both. Sometimes I am not aware of it … until someone asks what did I mean 😉

More wonderful layers but the thin line of light really gives this something extra to my eye.

Thank you very much, Steve. It’s that thin line of white that gives it life.

Stretch the title, stretch the horizon, what have you got to lose? The vague remnants of blue hanging suspended in the golden part are mesmerizing.
