More ICM. Less abstract, more impressionist, than a lot of what I do. Still under the thrall of the nineteenth century.

Yes, one could spend a lifetime being an impressionist.

In thrall, following the will-o’-the-wisp. I’m enjoying the subtle patterns in this one very much.

You could excitedly combine the two for a thrill-o’-the-wisp.

Thank you very much. This is unusual for me because most of the ICM work that I do is less representational. But, there it was.

This is very different from so many ICM images. I really like what you do with camera movement, Michael. There is so much to enjoy here!

Thank you very much. Purely experimental, but I will be doing more in this direction as the opportunities become available.

This is a very successful ICM with a nice dreamy quality that in a way reminds me of bird movement.

I can’t read ‘wisp’ without thinking of ‘will’o’the wisp,’ and that took me back to this bit of fun. Your photo, however, evokes the delicacy and almost imperceptible movement of sea fog.

Thank you very much. That was a bit of fun! And your bit of fun brought a smile. Funny thing is, when I was very young I thought it actually was willow the wisp. (I also thought there was a letter called elemeno.)

Thank you very much. The Muse and I have made a pact that wherever we live, we will always be close to the sea.
